सूचना का सही प्रवाह ही आधुनिक कृषि की कुंजी है

“कभी-कभी जो बीज किसानों को उपलब्ध कराए जाते हैं, वे सही गुणवत्ता के नहीं होते। सबसे पहले, ग्राम स्तरीय कृषि विभाग के अधिकारियों को चाहिए कि वे किसानों से नियमित रूप से संपर्क करें और स्वयं खेतों में जाकर निरीक्षण करें।

मिट्टी परीक्षण के बाद किसानों को यह जानकारी दी जानी चाहिए कि कितनी मात्रा में यूरिया, फॉस्फोरस और पोटाश की आवश्यकता है। वर्तमान में, अधिकांश किसान फसल को देखकर या उसके रंग के आधार पर खाद डालते हैं, जो आज के आधुनिक कृषि युग में वैज्ञानिक दृष्टि से सही नहीं है।

इसलिए यह अत्यंत आवश्यक है कि सही जानकारी और परामर्श हर किसान तक समय पर और सटीक तरीके से पहुँचे। इसी दिशा में गहन चिंतन और सुधार की आवश्यकता है।”

किसानों के अनुभव से सीखते हुए — नवाचार और ज़मीनी समझ का संगम

“डीएमआई (DMI) की भी इसमें बहुत महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है। हमारे देश के जो कम शिक्षित किसान हैं, उन्हें इस नई तकनीक को अपनाने और समझने में अभी भी कुछ कठिनाइयाँ आ रही हैं।

हम जब भी कोई रिसर्च-आधारित अध्ययन करते हैं और खेतों में जाकर किसानों के अनुभव से सीखते हैं, तो यह महसूस होता है कि प्रयोगशाला में विकसित की गई तकनीक और ज़मीन पर उसके अनुप्रयोग में अभी भी पूर्ण सामंजस्य नहीं है।

कई बार ऐसा भी होता है कि हम लंबे रिसर्च अनुभव और पीएचडी के बावजूद, जब किसानों के बीच जाते हैं, तो उनके व्यावहारिक अनुभव के आगे हमें भी झुकना पड़ता है। जैसे जब हम उन्हें ग्रेड स्टैंडर्ड्स या उत्पादों की गुणवत्ता समझाने की कोशिश करते हैं, तो वे अपने अनुभव से हमें और गहराई से समझा देते हैं।

इसलिए आने वाले समय में हमें जो भी नए नवाचार करने हैं, उनमें किसानों के लंबे अनुभव और उनकी ज़मीनी समझ को प्रयोगशाला के परीक्षणों में अवश्य शामिल करना चाहिए।”

“AI is one of the greatest breakthroughs in agriculture.
My research began with exploring how AI can be used for image-based analysis — and today, it’s capable of forecasting disease occurrence, predicting plant health, pest surveillance, and even studying pollinators.
The idea is to build machines that can think and act on par with human intelligence — and AI is making remarkable strides in that direction,” shared Prof. Prameela Krishnan, Prof. and Principal Scientist, ICAR- Indian Council of Agricultural Research- Indian Agricultural Research Institute.
