Jaipur’s metro network is set for a key expansion, extending Line 1 from Mansarovar towards the 200 Feet Bypass on Ajmer Road. 🚇🏙️

📍 Route: Mansarovar → 200 Feet Bypass
📏 Length: ~1.31 km
🏗️ Type: Elevated metro extension

The project aims to improve connectivity to the Ajmer Road corridor, help commuters avoid congested surface routes and strengthen access between Jaipur’s metro network and major residential and commercial hubs.

🏠 Better connectivity could also boost real estate and commercial activity around the 200 Feet Bypass and Ajmer Road.

The 61st annual Diggi Kalyan Ji Lakkhi Padyatra begins today, August 18, 2026, at 9:00 AM, from Tadkeshwar Mahadev Temple, Jaipur, following special prayers.

Thousands of devotees will embark on the five-day spiritual journey towards Kalyan Ji Temple in Diggi, Tonk district, carrying devotion, chants and a strong sense of community along the way. 🛕✨

🌸 Jaipur is all set to celebrate the grandeur of Teej! 🌸

The world-famous Teej Festival 2026 returns to Jaipur on August 15 - 16, bringing two days of vibrant traditions, royal pageantry, folk music and monsoon festivities. The festival celebrates the divine union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and is one of Jaipur’s most iconic cultural celebrations.

👑 Main Highlight: Shahi Sawari
The grand Teej Mata procession features Goddess Parvati’s idol carried in a magnificent gold-and-silver palanquin, accompanied by decorated camels, horses, traditional chariots and folk musicians.
