The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Darrang Zila Parishad Victor Carpenter of Assam Civil Service has been transferred and posted as the Joint Secretary in the Transport department with immediate effect.
The Department of Personnel (Personnel-A) of State government vide a notification issued on June 4 ( no. AAA.92/2010/47) and signed by Principal Secretary of the Personnel A department Rajiv Bora transferred Carpenter. However he has not been replaced by any one else. Carpenter is likely to hand over his charges to the Deputy Commissioner of Darrang within a short period.
