Answer: Formulating policies to woo these two sections of the population is the topmost priority of every political party's think tank. Clearly, what the youth and the common man think matters. Big time. Yet the mainstream media is an almost exclusive reflection of the views of retired civil servants, aging politicians and senior citizens belonging to the elite band of the society's spectrum. Not

withstanding the fact that the experience and expertise of these elderly stalwarts is an invaluable source of guidance, it is regrettable that the youth, which now forms the majority of our country's population, has no forum to express itself on. The Liberator intends to provide a platform where youngsters, as well as other citizens, can voice their opinions on a variety of issues that touch our lives, and be noticed by more than their "friends" or "followers". Our larger aim is to assist the governing authorities in development of a more inclusive public policy by bringing to their notice the fresh perspective which the youngsters can bring. For us, being "young" is not a matter of age, but of zest and enthusiasm.
