Instant Kesar Mawa Modak 🌺

Comment “Modak” and I will DM you the Recipe!

This instant kesar mawa modak with milk powder is proof that festive sweets don’t need to be complicated. With a handful of ingredients and under 30 minutes, you can make soft, fragrant, and utterly divine modaks that taste just as authentic as the traditional version.

The best part? You can skip hours in the kitchen and avoid store-bought mawa. This instant kesar mawa modak recipe uses milk powder to create the same creamy texture and luxurious taste—without any fuss!

Offer these modaks to Bappa during Ganesh Chaturthi puja.
Serve as a festive dessert with other sweet treats on a mithai board.
Pack them in decorative boxes as homemade mithai gifts for friends and family.

Our baby shower party was nothing short of a dream! It was everything I ever wished for. Our families and best friends were there to celebrate with us and we were showered with so much love, warmth and laughter. Thank you everyone for celebrating with us. We love you all!

To my Aju,

I will always choose you,
In a hundred lifetimes
In a hundred worlds
On our brightest and the darkest days
In any version of reality
I’d find you and choose you

To my Sweet Inaaya,

There is no amount of words that can ever describe how much we love you, and how you fill our world with so much light, giggles, and warmth. You are magic, and have the most beautiful heart. Always choose empathy and kindness.

To Our Baby,

Thank you for choosing us to be your family. Every word is an understatement to describe how much we love you. You are our world, and Inaaya is going to be the best big sister to you.

To my family and my friends, my village,

You know who you are, and thank you for showering our family with love, and warmth. Thank you for not always just saying we are here for you, but, showing up every single time in our good and bad days. Thank you celebrating our wins and holding us through our losses. We are eternally grateful for you all!

I am very grateful for and her team for organizing this beautiful event.

And in the middle of my chaos, there was YOU.

Our home, and our baby as Inaaya calls you. No amount of words can ever describe how much we have waited for you, and love you.

Our sweet .0 is due in December,2025. Our home is going to be filled again with little coos, and baby smell. And we are beyond excited to see Inaaya become big sister!

It was the evening of 24th March, and Luna started showing signs, that something has changed. She was rubbing herself on me and walking, staying close to me, and it was just the little things I noticed and decided to take the test.

I was pretty sure I will see a line, because Luna, my Luna cannot be wrong. She has been through it all and seen it all. Luna and I took the pregnancy test, and I hugged her, kissed her, while my hands won’t stop shaking!

Stars are born from chaos, and you my little peanut are going to be the brightest star of our lives🧿♥️

If you are in your TTC, I see you. It is one of the hardest, painful and most lonely journeys, where nobody understands your pain, unless one has really been through it. Know that I see you, and I hope that you strive through these storms.

It’s been a while since I posted here. Yesterday marked a week to my diagnostic hysteroscopy procedure. The results of the biopsy came in yesterday and everything looks good. I have almost recovered, but I do feel tired here and there. So I thought of sharing this round up of Gujarati Recipes that are on the blog. Gujarati food is my number one comfort food, and hits home. I make mini Gujarati thali every week for us to make sure Inaaya gets exposed to Gujarati meals. And she loves them.
