I would have never been here without you,
Every single step of mine towards this world,
Has always been a new start with a swirl.

On the worst day when it was hard to smile,
You were my power who made me cover mile,
When I wanted to cry out loud and give up,
You were just beside me holding my hands to lift me up.

Mother is not only meant for the lady who gave birth,
It is for them whose love and care are beyond worth,
I am grateful to you as you never left me alone,
In this cruel world you were there for me as firm as a throne.
