FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) has been committed to and supporting the cause of the India media and entertainment sector for more than 20 years .
Media & Entertainment business conclave was a unique initiative started by FICCI in the year 2009 to fulfill the South Indian industry’s longstanding demand for a conclave focusing world attention on the rich potential of the Southern Entertainment Market . The Conclave has now. become a successful and fruitful amalgamation of the creative arts in the past three years. The entire gamut of the entertainment industry - Films, Television, Music, Print , Animation, Gaming and technology areas such as broadband and convergence have been covered at the past Conclave editions . Media and Entertainment Business Conclave will aim at the following:
· The Media and Entertainment Business Conclave would provide a forum for the Government to receive authentic and first hand information on the state of the Indian Entertainment Industry and its problems and prospects.
· Media and Entertainment Business Conclave will be one of the most prestigious convention on the Business of Entertainment in India .The entire gamut of the entertainment industry - Films, Television, Music, Animation, Gaming and technology areas such as broadband and convergence would be covered at the Conclave.
· Media and Entertainment Business Conclave would be the most ideal platform for the Indian entertainment industry for sharing of knowledge and ideas with eminent personalities and renowned experts drawn from different parts of the globe.
· The delegates at Conclave will get exposed to the global and Indian developments with regard to trends and opportunities in the entertainment industry, business possibilities and regulatory regimes in different countries.
· To bring four Southern State and Media and Entertainment Industry together. Every year , the conclave will be held alongside the IIFA UTSAVAM with a view to inspiring the next phase of growth and development for the Indian entertainment industry.
We are delighted to inform you that FICCI and IIFA Business Forum would host the MEBC 2015 in Hyderabad as part of the IIFA Utsavam and has been slated for 5th December 2015. The Telangana government has kindly agreed to be the host state.
