LONG VULNERABLE STORY ALERT🥹
Almost a year ago, we made a short film for IFP. Filmmaking has always been a fun and exciting process, especially because you end up making great memories and amazing friends along the way. But this time, the experience was even more special because we made the film with our office people! And honestly, that just doubled the fun.
We didn’t sleep for almost two days straight. We got the concept at around 8 PM one night, and somehow managed to pull off the entire short film in just 50 hours. Initially, we sat down for a discussion and, like always, ended up doing a lot of bakaiti. Eventually, we locked one idea. But we ran into a big problem — finding the right location. With all the constraints and time crunch, nothing seemed to work out.
So, we decided to change the entire concept at the last moment and shoot it within our office space itself. That decision turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
The shoot itself was a total blast. Honestly, shooting is something I always enjoy, but this one felt extra special. Huge shoutout to Nitesh, Tulika, and Darsh & whole team behind camera, they were super cooperative and helpful throughout. Because of their support and energy, everything went smoothly and we wrapped up quickly. (I hope they feel the same way too!)
It’s crazy to look back and think how much we managed to do in such a short time. It reminded me once again that sometimes, all you need is a good team, some late-night madness, and a whole lot of passion.
