Orik Tali Expresses Gratitude After Being Elected ZPM of 6-Jengging Block

Yingkiong, Upper Siang | December 2025:
Newly elected Zilla Parishad Member (ZPM) of 6-Jengging Block, Shri Orik Tali, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of the block for reposing their trust in him during the Panchayat Elections 2025.

In a thanks giving message, Shri Tali thanked the voters and supporters from all the villages under the block, including Karko, Gosang, Moying, Ramsing, Bomdo and Janbo, for their unconditional support throughout the election campaign.

He specially acknowledged the contributions of students, senior citizens, youths, women, sisters and people of all genders, stating that their active participation and encouragement played a key role in his electoral success.

Shri Tali also expressed his sincere thanks to HMLA 34 Tuting–YKG and Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Alo Libang, for his guidance and continuous support. He further thanked BJP District In-Charge Shri Tapak Pertin, District President Shri Ojing Peyang, Secretary Shri Tago Jijong, Mandal President 34 YKG-Jengging Shri Duggong Pangkam, Secretary Katakiram Burang, and the District Mahila Morcha President and Secretary for their organisational support.

He also acknowledged the efforts of his campaign team, including Election Agent Shri Moni Apang, Proposer Shri Ongkong Nangkar, and Campaign Chairman Shri Kaying Nobeng, for their dedication and hard work during the campaign period.

Shri Tali stated that the victory belongs to the people of 6-Jengging Block and assured that he would serve the block with honesty, responsibility and commitment towards inclusive development.

Deputy Commissioner Inspects Panggo–Ningging Defence Road Works

Upper Siang DC Shri Talo Jerang inspected the ongoing cement-treated Panggo–Ningging road (part of Migging–Tuting defence road) on 7 Dec. Executed by 1448 BCC of 761 BRTF through EPC mode, the 30-km stretch—located in major sinking zones—is the first cement-treated road project in Upper Siang.

The DC appreciated BRO and project teams, urging strict quality standards to ensure durable connectivity to strategic border areas and benefit the Army, ITBP and civilians.
