Speaking on the occasion, HCM Pema Khandu informed that the Sarkar Aapke Dwar initiative was first launched in 2017 and was later renamed Seva Aapke Dwar. “So far, more than 1000 camps have been organised across the state, benefitting over 15 lakh people. Arunachal Pradesh being a vast tribal state, many villagers were earlier unaware of various welfare schemes of the State and Central Governments. Hence, the initiative was started to ensure last-mile delivery of governance and services,” he said.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from villagers, reflecting the success of the Government’s mission to make governance people-centric and accessible at the grassroots.
