الشخص الذي يتوسط الصورة لا يعرفه الكثيرون ،
جبرائيل اصفر الخامس ، استاذ اللغة الفرنسية و العربية ، أسس معهد سيمون روك للغات الأجنبية ، ولد في العراق عام 1943 و توفي في عام 2020 ،
نعتقد أنه حفيد أسرة آل اصفر التي أسست اول مكبس للتمور في العراق و اول من صدر التمور العراقية إلى أوروبا و الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ،
في الستينيات من القرن الماضي ، صدر قرار حكومي بتصفية الشركات الأجنبية ، كان من ضمنها شركة أصفر ،
