Information to teachers of English in Iraq;
Teachers are requested to intensively review the use of some notions and expressions that are usual and widely used by the British and American in addition to the people in countries where English is the second language:/ contrast- opinion- warning- sequence..... etc , but in another way:
A) Contrast (although / however) make full sentence.
1-He was very tired. He continued working.
2- very high/ climb it
3- story /long /finish it in two days.
4- good swimmer/ unable to win the race.
5- good technician/ not find the defect.

B) opinions; Give situations beginning with :I think.......
1- The weather is terrible.
2- Father is tired.
3- Wasan is a clever student.
4-He looks angry.
5- Our new boss is late today.

C) Asking for permission.
"Would it be all right if I (v-ed).....?
1- you want to leave the classroom.
2- Rafid wants to use his father's pen.
3-John likes to borrow Hadi's dictionary.
4-Tom wants to miss the exam tomorrow.
5-Sam wants to bring his friends to the party

D) arrangements (personal/ intention)
1-plane/fly at 10 a.m
2-the bell / ring at 8 am
3- engineer / make plans / this afternoon.
4- Yasir/ travel to Basrah / 1- every winter 2- next Monday.
5- the ditch/ drain the rain water in five minutes.
