The article titled “Defective Viral Genomes: Emerging Therapeutic Tools for Animal Viral Infections” explores the growing potential of defective viral genomes (DVGs) as innovative antiviral tools in veterinary and medical research.

Conducted by researchers from University of Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Diwaniyah Veterinary Teaching Hospital, the study examines how DVGs may interfere with viral replication, stimulate immune responses, and reduce disease transmission.

A recent study titled “Rapid Diagnosis of Staphylococcus Aureus Using The LAMP Method” highlights the potential of rapid molecular diagnostic techniques for detecting methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).

Conducted by researchers from the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Defense, the research demonstrated the effectiveness of the LAMP assay as a fast and highly sensitive method for identifying S. aureus infections.

The study showed that the LAMP method can provide rapid detection within a short time while offering greater sensitivity compared to conventional PCR methods, supporting its potential use in both laboratory and field settings.

على الموافقة الرسمية لاعتمادها لأغراض النشر والترقيات العلمية، وتسجيلها ضمن موقع المجلات الأكاديمية العلمية العراقية بتاريخ 13 / 5 / 2026.

ويأتي هذا الاعتماد بعد استكمال متطلبات وضوابط الاستحداث المعتمدة من قبل وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، ليشكل خطوة مهمة في دعم النشر العلمي والأنشطة الأكاديمية المختلفة.

ويمثل هذا الإنجاز تعزيزًا لدور ACP في توفير منصة أكاديمية رصينة لنشر البحوث ووقائع المؤتمرات العلمية وفق المعايير الأكاديمية المعتمدة.

Research article titled “Effects of Different Chitosan Coated TiO2 Nanoparticles Concentrations on the Antibacterial Activities” explores the potential of nanocomposite materials in antibacterial applications.
