life is too short to get mad at a toddler for being a toddler.

they make messes, they spill things, they yell, they cry, and they push you to your limits, but that's how they are supposed to act.

they are learning how to regulate emotions and use fine motor skills. encourage them and guide them, don't reprimand them for accidents or outbursts.

it’s our job to break the cycle of pointless punishment and emotional trauma.
Me:may bon*l pud usahay oyy.

they are kids, and kids will be KIDS.

Pork Affordability: Philippines vs. New Zealand
• Pork Price:
• Philippines: PHP 240–300/kg (USD 4.40–5.50)
• New Zealand: NZD 12.50–12.90/kg (USD 8.13–8.39)
• Pork in NZ is about twice as expensive as in the Philippines.

Daily Wage:
• Philippines: PHP 614 (USD 11.20)
• New Zealand: NZD 238 (USD 154.70)
• NZ wages are about 20 times higher than in the Philippines.

How Much of a Day’s Wage is Spent on 1 kg of Pork?
• Philippines: 40–50%
• New Zealand: 5%

Analysis:
Even though pork is more expensive in New Zealand, wages there are significantly higher, making pork far more affordable. In the Philippines, a worker must spend nearly half a day’s wage to buy 1 kg of pork, while in New Zealand, it only takes a small fraction of their daily income.

This reflects broader economic differences:
• Higher wages in New Zealand offset the higher cost of pork.
• Lower wages in the Philippines make basic goods relatively expensive.
• Cost of living and purchasing power are much better in New Zealand.

Thus, while pork is physically cheaper in the Philippines, it is actually harder to afford compared to New Zealand.
