✨ The Wilayah of Ali (a.s.) in the Quran — Part 2 (Verses + References + Hadith) 6️⃣ Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:67) Arabic (Part): يَا أَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ بَلِّغْ مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ... Translation: O Messenger! Deliver what has been revealed to you, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. Explanation: According to Shia interpretations, this verse was revealed on the occasion of Ghadir Khum, where Ali ibn Abi Talib's wilayah was announced. Reference: Tafsir al-Mizan, Nur al-Thaqalayn 7️⃣ Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:3) Arabic (Part): الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ... Translation: Today I have perfected your religion for you... Explanation: This verse was also revealed on the day of Ghadir Khum, when the religion was completed with the announcement of Ali ibn Abi Talib's wilayah. Reference: Tafsir al-Burhan 8️⃣ Surah Al-Baqarah (2:124) Arabic (Part): إِنِّي جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامًا... Translation: I am making you a leader for the people... Explanation: This verse speaks of the divine position of Imamate, and according to traditions, this continues through Ali ibn Abi Talib and the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.). Reference: Tafsir al-Mizan Surah Al-Nisa' (4:59) Arabic (Part): أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ... Translation: Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you... Explanation: According to Shia belief, "those in authority" refers to the infallible Imams, starting with Ali ibn Abi Talib. Reference: Nur al-Thaqalayn 🔟 Surah Al-Shura (42:23) Arabic (Part): قُل لَّا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا الْمَوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبَىٰ Translation: Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it except love for my near of kin... Explanation: "Near of kin" refers to the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.), including Ali ibn Abi Talib, and their love is considered the reward for the Prophet's mission.
