Imam hussain's(a.s) stance was a defense of religion and the ummah,and his sacrifices in Karbala were to revive Islamic values and dismantle the legitimacy of unjust rulers. These sacrifices became a timeless symbol of resistance against oppression every era.
This,imam hussain's(a.s) position towards Yazid remains an eternal lesson in refusing to submit to tyrants and holding firm to principles,no matter the sacrifices.
