Some of Melkor's pieces have been broadcasted in Germany, Netherlands, Italy, France, America, Belgium, and Canada; some have been chosen as soundtracks for theater performances, such as Noon theater (2021). Melkor has also composed music for Sci-Fi visual content of the National Observatory of Iran and collaborated in so many VA compilations such as Visions of Darkness (2022). The purpose is to demonstrate the most profound existential aspects and philosophical foundations of existence through the language of music. Additionally, Melkor embarks on conceptual and experimental expeditions to dark spaces, Blackness, and the origins of creation. Melkor Studio is a monastery for passionate souls from across the globe who possess a deep inclination towards the nexus of art, philosophy, and darkness which has started its activity in 2017 with the aim of providing a new approach in the production of conceptual, electronic and art music. Melkor – Udkraxsha (Digital/CD Album - PharmaFabrik / Simon Šerc )

Melkor is an Iranian solo project led by Behrad Fountain. The artist has reportedly been active for several years, yet aside from a few tracks featured on various compilations, very little was known until now. This debut album, released in 2024, certainly deserves some belated attention.
Melkor leads us into the most remote realms of Dark-Ambient and Drone. The compositions are meticulously and precisely constructed, where deep, immersive soundscapes merge with droning textures to evoke a sensation that is both captivating and unsettling. The cold, minimal tones give rise to an icy production that reaches moments of true apotheosis.
This is a profoundly intriguing project that has completely convinced me with its first full-length release — a name to remember and to follow closely. (Rating:8½).

RAVAQ (رواق, English: Portico) is a voyage through life and death, a philosophical soundscape, maybe a representation of a philosopher's interlife experience. Tibetan called such spiritual travel Bardo'.
The electronic sonic exploration is accompanied by a mood of contemplation that is set by Middle Eastern instruments.
The voyage completes with another track titled Khial (خیال, English: Hallucination).
Listen to the sounds that are describing themselves and their concept. Permit your soul to project and then observe its trajectory.

Our story

Melkor is a Dark Artist and a Dark Ambient Project.

Formerly, Melkor was a Drummer and Vocalist in Black and Doom Metal (2010-2015) and Presently, Melkor is a Composer and Sound designer. Various projects with different intentions - Xigri, Quantumystic, Exterminatus, Melkor - are being done by his artistry and composing.

Since 2013, Melkor's Electronic Projects (Exterminas - Quantumystical- Supernova) ,which were mostly Psychedelic and Dark Atmospheric, started to walk aside of Metal Projects (Gray - Adum - Apollyon the Order) and after about a years Melkor Project founded and started to Darken the ambiances of Music Realm through geners including Drone, Ambient, Psychedelic and Specially Dark Ambient & Atmospheric. Since 2014 till 2017, no Album was released by Melkor title and all the pieces were oftenly single, live performances and compilation. Some survived and some went into ashes! In the Sep 2017 one LP named "Orkship" by release title “Call for Urukhai” was presented Underground; After the Orkship (about a year) there was a Dark Epic music album named "Custos" which was aimed to make an Astral Projection path for a council (including Melkor himself) published Underground; both faded in that years because of technical problems.

In between 2018 - 2020 there was only single tracks and in Jun 2020 Dark Ambient Music Album "Hall of Bats" digitally released by label Kalpamantra and pulled Melkor into the ground and the international and official levels.
