Almost two months after Trump's tariffs went into effect, I'd like to know how and if this event has changed the way you shop.
It's clear I'm referring to a marginal part of your life: miniatures and dollhouses are certainly not a priority in life, or are they? 😆
But certainly a moment, a pleasure, a treat you could have indulged in has been radically altered.
Personally, what until now had been a thriving business, a source of satisfaction and, why not, of income that supported me and my family, has collapsed. 😔
I don't want to pity anyone, but this is a fact: the United States has always been a huge portion of our customers; without going too far, at least 90% were Americans.
I understand that, in addition to the imposition of duties, there has also been a situation of uncertainty and changes in the way we ship abroad, which, at least here in Italy, has been handled terribly.
Poste Italiane has still not resumed shipping to the US, either unwilling or unable to manage it,🤬 forcing us to rely on delivery services that are certainly very reliable, but inevitably more expensive for the end customer.
Going from €5.00 to €25.00 certainly changes the carefree way we used to shop around the world.
That said, without making this a political issue but a purely sociological one, whether you are a customer or a creator, I'd love to know your thoughts and how you've responded to this change.
