RIKY EM, moniker dietro il quale si “nasconde” Riccardo Mele, nasce a Carbonia nel 1982 dove comincia a muovere i primi passi nel mondo della musica. Sin della più tenera età si cimenta con diversi strumenti musicali dalle tastiera alla batteria, per arrivare alle percussioni, ma è l’incontro con il giradischi che stravolge la sua vita, musicale e non. Definito dalla stampa specializzata uno dei più talentuosi e interessanti dj della pen*sola, RIKY EM si muove con disinvoltura in tutti i rami della House Music, i suoi djset partono dalla Deep al Funk passando per la Garage, Dalla Disco alla Techno, ma la maggior parte sono caratterizzati da Tech-House con ritmi caldi e morbidi, ma sempre più pressanti e coinvolgenti che richiamano la tradizione latina musicale creando un turbinio di emozioni ritmiche, che ti avvolge e ti trasporta in un'altra dimensione piena di radici musicali che sono in equilibrio tra loro; tutto questo lo rende un artista eclettico e aperto a qualsiasi tipo di musica. Innamorato della musica e delle nuove tecnologie, ha sperimentato tutto, partendo dai vinili ai cd, dalle chiavette usb ai controller. E’ stato anche uno dei primi dj in Italia e il primo in Sardegna, ad aver utilizzato l’ iPad e il Pacemaker in consolle, durante i suoi live show. Il suo variegato background musicale, il suo stile e il suo gusto gli hanno permesso di collaborare con numerosi dj italiani e stranieri e di suonare nei migliori club italiani.
