Two years ago the day was a Monday and the World I could see from my window was all covered in red.
Red of passion and red of blood pulsing through my veins right into my heart. Fuel for hopes and dreams that translate to many stories to tell.
Opening a company on the brink of something huge and unexpected like a pandemic may have not resulted as the best thing. But no one could have known.
The second anniversary of My Red World Productions brings renewed hope within and trust in the future - one as bright and adventurous as it can possibly be.
From London to Rome a new company will start its own journey, our first movie ‘No Way Back’ will see its well deserved release date, and together with old and new friends we will narrate you tales of unique beauty.

Ciao everyone! It has been a while since last time we posted. There have been hard times of late but we all are flattered to announce that No Way Back has finished its journey at the ARFF Amsterdam achieving the selection as Semi-Finalist for Best Cinematography !

Here are our director Cole Christie and cinematographer Beatrice Da Gama on “No Way Back”.

The first is an American film director with an acting and production background. Cole came to the MetFilm School in London in late 2019 to expand on his knowledge in the technical and creative with a focus in directing; there he met Paolo Donati and Rachel Patterson with which soon after he started working on “No Way Back”.
Cole’s main objective is to be a long term European based filmmaker.

Beatrice Da Gama is instead primarily based in the UK, but has since been working on projects across the span of Europe from London to Istanbul.
The best moment for me - says Bea - was getting lost in the magic of Castiglioncello. Whether it’s the coast lines or the Medici castles, there was always many hidden treasures to explore.

During the shooting days of “No Way Back” the weather was just perfect. It was cold but sunny as on might expect from a Italian coastal town.
Castiglioncello was indeed part of the crew and, indeed, of the cast.

Director Cole Christie here talks with the actors about the second scene of the day.
For the records, it was still very early.

Four stills from our movie “No Way Back” celebrating this week one year since the beginning of the shootings.

Entirely filmed in Castiglioncello, the movie tells the story of Hila, a young Israeli girl running from home stumbling into a beautiful coastal town in Italy to meet two lost souls like her. A Paradise from which she can’t escape, not that she ever feels the need to.
James, the old and tired guardian of Castiglioncello, senses Hila as she arrives; he knows she will be soon in danger and that his help would be crucial to save her soul.
