Have you ever heard of an Italian village where trees get married? 🌲✨

In Castelsaraceno, a tiny mountain village in Basilicata, every June the whole community comes together for the Festa della ’Ndenna, one of Europe’s oldest tree rituals.

A tall beech, known as the groom, and a pine top, known as the bride, are carried down from the forest and symbolically united in the village square. It’s an ancient ritual of nature, community and renewal, with origins so old that they are still wrapped in mystery.

But Castelsaraceno is so much more!

This Tuscan city looks like a movie set… because it actually was.

Arezzo is one of Tuscany’s most underrated weekend escapes, and if some corners feel familiar, there’s a reason: its historic streets and Piazza Grande were used as filming locations for Roberto Benigni’s Oscar-winning movie Life Is Beautiful. Piazza Grande, the Logge Vasari and several spots across the old town became part of the film’s unforgettable atmosphere.

But Arezzo is more than a cinema location.

Italy has its own Camino, and it’s far less crowded 🇮🇹🥾

While everyone talks about the Camino de Santiago, fewer travelers know about the Via Francigena, an ancient pilgrimage route once walked by pilgrims heading to Rome.

Today, it stretches for over 3,000 km, from Canterbury to Rome and onward to Santa Maria di Leuca, crossing quiet countryside, medieval villages, abbeys, mountain paths and some of Italy’s most authentic landscapes.

It’s not just a trek. It’s a slower way to experience Italy, far from the crowds and closer to the places most tourists never see.

Can you actually spot the difference? 🐂👀

In Milan, even a mosaic can become a legend.

At the heart of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, beneath its glass dome and elegant arcades, there is a small ritual that almost every traveler notices.

People stop, place their heel on the bull mosaic and spin for good luck.
A simple gesture, repeated for more than a century, turned this tiny detail on the floor into one of Milan’s most photographed symbols.
But after years of wishes, footsteps and superstition, the bull needed to be restored.

When the work was finally revealed, the internet immediately started talking. Some said the mosaic had changed. Others joked that Milan’s luckiest bull had lost part of its identity.

The city’s answer? Nothing disappeared. The famous detail was simply restored to its original pink marble shade.
And maybe that is what makes this story so Italian: a place where beauty, ritual, irony and heritage can all meet in one single corner of a gallery.

Because in Italy, traditions are not just things we remember.
They are things we keep returning to.

Look closely: do you notice any difference, or is the internet overreacting? 👇

Would you play golf here? ⛳️🇮🇹

LeBron James is back in Capri, and this might be the most iconic “golf course” in the world.

After another NBA season, King James chose the island of Capri, in the Gulf of Naples, for a few days of Italian summer, sea views and Mediterranean calm. But this time, the basketball legend brought another passion with him: golf.

In a video shared from a boat, LeBron was seen practising his swing in front of Capri’s Faraglioni, the dramatic sea stacks that have become one of Italy’s most recognizable symbols.

Only in Italy, even a training session can look like a postcard.

Would you try this in Capri? 👇
