On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, AES diplomacy gained momentum.

Burkina Faso and Mali held talks with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on expanding bilateral cooperation, including defense and security cooperation. Tehran also proposed a joint meeting with all three AES states - Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger to deepen strategic cooperation.
