Some moments stay with you long after they happen.

About four years ago, a woman going through cancer treatment came to us after losing her hair.

She hadn’t told her mother what she was going through. She just wanted to wear her wig first… and then finally make that video call.

When she saw herself with hair again, she cried and hugged Mani.

And her husband? He had shaved his own head so she wouldn’t feel alone.

I still think about that moment.

Sometimes, hair isn’t about how you look.

It’s about dignity. Love. Confidence. And feeling like yourself again.

Some stories remind us why the work we do matters. ❤️

13 years in business, and I still believe some of the most important lessons are learned face-to-face with your customers.

Reports can tell you what happened.
But sitting with a customer helps you understand why.

Their real problems. Their expectations. What we’re doing right, and where we still need to improve.

That’s one reason I still spend time with customers at GEMERIA HAIR

Because as a founder, I never want to become so busy running the business that I lose touch with the people we built it for.

Some things can only be understood by being there.

People rarely buy a product because they want the product.

They buy because they want a problem solved.

Over the years, I’ve realised that the best conversations with customers don’t start with, “Which product do you want?”

They start with, “Tell me what’s bothering you.”

In our atelier at GEMERIA HAIR , we meet women who think they’re looking for a hair extension or a wig.

Most of the time, they’re looking to feel confident again.

That simple shift changed the way I built my business.

Stop asking, What can I sell?

Start asking, What problem can I solve?

When you genuinely solve someone’s problem, trust comes first.

The business follows.

What’s one lesson that’s changed the way you do business?

One bad hire can cost you more than losing a customer.

Recently, I made a hiring mistake. The resume was strong, the interview went well, but the person wasn’t the right fit for our culture.

It reminded me of a lesson every entrepreneur eventually learns:

Don’t hire only for skills.

Hire for integrity, accountability, and attitude.

Because skills can be taught.

Character can’t.

What’s the biggest hiring lesson you’ve learned as a business owner?

13 years ago, I started with hair.

Today, through GEMERIA HAIR , I’m building more than a business.

I’m building experiences, confidence, and a brand that people trust.

A few final touches are still left before we open the doors to our newest Gemeria Atelier in GK1 Delhi.

The journey continues. ✨

People often admire the car.

I admire the years of consistency that made it possible.

Businesses grow slowly. Trust builds slowly. Life compounds slowly.

Keep showing up.

The results eventually become visible. 🖤

Most people come here, click a few pictures, and leave.
We did that too.

But then we stayed back, to understand the story behind these walls.

A local guide changed everything.
Suddenly, it wasn’t just architecture, it was history speaking.

Every window, every design had a reason.

That’s when it hits you
travel is not about collecting places,
it’s about understanding them.

Because real travel isn’t about photos.
it’s about perspective.

“Photos fade. Perspective stays.”
