Sleeping Quarters sa NAIA T3 para sa OFWs

Ito ay bagong pasilidad sa loob ng OFW Lounge ng NAIA Terminal 3. Nilalayon itong magbigay ng komportableng pahingahan para sa mga OFW na may mahabang paliparan o kailangang maghulat ng matagal bago ang kanilang flight.

May kapasidad para sa 20 k**a (beds), kasama ang sariling shower areas at locker facilities para sa seguridad ng bagahe

Ayon sa isang balita noong Abril 2025, magkakatulung-tulong ang rest beds, massage chairs, shower rooms, at locker rooms para mas maginhawa ang paghihintay ng OFWs nang hindi bababa sa 8 oras

Inanunsiyo ito na magagamit Setyembre 2025, at tinanggap ng mga OFW groups bilang sagot sa matagal na nilang pangarap na magkaroon ng maayos at ligtas na pahingahan bago bumiyahe

Mayroon nang Wings Transit Lounge sa Level 3 (landside) ng Terminal 3 na bukas 24/7. Nag-o-offer ito ng iba't ibang klase ng pahingahan gaya ng:

Reclining chairs (~USD 14 para sa ~7 oras),

Sleep capsules (~USD 20 para sa ~7.5 oras),

Private twin rooms (~USD 36 para sa ~7.5 oras),

kasama ang showers at informal rest zones

Ang bagong OFW sleeping quarters naman ay eksklusibo para sa OFWs at may kaukulang layunin tulad ng shower, k**a, at locker access.

Mas ligtas at maayos na lugar para sa pag-aantay—hindi na kailangang matulog sa lounge seats o sa bench na walang privacy.

May access sa mga pangunahing pangangailangan tulad ng k**a, shower, at secure storage para sa mga gamit.

Mas conducive lalo na para sa mga pagod mula sa biyahe o may mahabang gap sa flight schedule.

Oo, kompleto na ang impormasyon tungkol sa bagong myembro ng pagpapa-kumportableng serbisyo para sa OFWs sa NAIA Terminal 3: isang 20-bed sleeping quarters na may shower at locker facilities, na inaasahang magbubukas ngayong Setyembre 2025 sa loob ng OFW Lounge. Ito ay dagdag serbisyo sa existing Wings Transit Lounge, ngunit mas nakatuon at limitado para sa mga OFW.

"EMBASSY OFFICIALS MEET WITH MAYOR CLAUDIO ANTONELLI AND FILIPINO NATIONAL AHEAD OF PLANNED REPATRIATION


Rome, 12 August 2025 – Ambassador Neal Imperial and Consul General Randy Arquiza met with Mayor Claudio Antonelli of Montebuono (RI) and a Filipino national who visited the Embassy to apply for a travel document.

The Filipino national, who has resided in Italy for many years under the guardianship of Mayor Antonelli, is scheduled to return to the Philippines next month to reunite with her family after nearly two decades. She will be accompanied by Mayor Antonelli.

During the meeting, the Embassy expressed appreciation to Mayor Antonelli for the care and assistance extended to the Filipino national, particularly in facilitating her forthcoming return. The Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the welfare of Filipino nationals and acknowledged the collaboration of local authorities in ensuring the well-being of the Filipinos in Italy. 🇵🇭 Pinoy Pride in Europe! Filipina triathlete Kira Ellis captured gold at the 2025 European Triathlon Junior Cup – Junior Women’s Division in Riga, Latvia! 🥇

Ellis battled through tough competition and crossed the line with a strong 1:05:07 finish, securing the top podium spot and proudly waving the Philippine flag on the European stage.

01 August 2025 (Rome) – The Philippine Embassy in Rome extends its warmest congratulations to Filipino singer-songwriter and host Gabrielle Sarmiento on the release of his debut single entitled “Manila.” Mr. Sarmiento is a second generation Filipino who was born and raised in Rome, Italy.

The track will be officially released today, 01 August 2025, under ADA Music (a member of the Warner Music Italy Group), and will be available on iTunes Store, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, Beatport, and Traxsource.

The official music video for Manila will premiere on Mr. Sarmiento’s YouTube channel on Monday, 04 August 2025, at 4:00 PM (Rome time).
