Kangaroo got a little too comfortable with his restful 4-day weekend and was a bit cranky this morning. 🤣 The forecast called for rain this week, so he figured he could stay home chilling a little longer… but apparently the weather had other plans.

First week back to work and he was definitely feeling it.

Thankfully, the drive was smooth, the gate wait was short, and the morning topped itself off with a gorgeous sunrise as I dropped him off to work. Overall, it turned into a pretty good morning as I made my way back home. ☀️🤓

When you came home from the vet and forgot to ask for a cone. It was after midnight, Batman started gnawing on his hurt paw… so the paper plate emergency cone was born. 🤣🐶 It worked but he didn’t really like it. lol

I think I’m finally getting used to this slower pace of life — focusing more on family, meaningful connections, and living without the constant stress of making ends meet.

Who would’ve thought I’d take up gardening this early? 😆🌱

And someday, when time permits, travel will resume so I can see the special people I promised I’d visit. Y’all, I’m coming… soon to bug ya. ☺️
