Statistical records shows that Buhari within the eight years of his administration spent over $7.722 billion (11.7 trillion Naira) on fuel subside. And increased Nigeria's external debt profile from $7.35 billion to $37.2 billion. And the good people of Nigeria raised eyebrows, shouted and called him names, normally 😂

Tinubu, on climbing the throne, immediately scraped the fuel subside. And between May 2023 - July 2025, over $30 billion external loans have been requested and approved by the Nigerian Senate.

Kai! What almighty Bubu could not do in eight years, Jagaban did just within two good years. Yet these monies can not really be accounted for. No direct measurable significant impact on the economy, education, power, security, infrastructure, etcetera.

What amazes me is the morale with which he seats down to draft these borrowing spree and present it to the National Assembly, and the Senate - our own people whom we trust to represent us, approves the enslavement of it's younger generation with reckless abandon of it's transgenerational consequences.

Chai! 🙆 Who did we offend? Was Jesus crucified in Nigeria? Or could it be that Judas Iscariot has a paternal link to Nigeria?

May 30th, Biafra Heroes' Day (The Biafra History)

The Biafra genocide refers to the mass starvation and deaths that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War (1967–1970), also known as the Biafran War. The conflict arose when the southeastern region of Nigeria, predominantly inhabited by the Igbo ethnic group, attempted to secede and form the Republic of Biafra.

The war was triggered by ethnic tensions, political instability, and economic disparities following Nigeria’s independence in 1960.

In 1966, a series of military coups led to violence against the Igbo people, prompting many to flee to the southeast.

Biafra declared independence in 1967 under the leadership of Lt. Col. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.

The Nigerian government imposed a blockade on Biafra, cutting off food and medical supplies.

This led to widespread famine, with an estimated 500,000 to 2 million Biafran civilians dying from starvation.

Images of starving children suffering from kwashiorkor shocked the world and led to international humanitarian efforts.

End of the War
After 30 months of fighting, Biafra surrendered on January 15, 1970.

The Nigerian government adopted a policy of "no victor, no vanquished", aiming for national reconciliation.

The war remains a deeply emotional and significant event in Nigerian history, particularly for the Igbo people.
