He began recording with multiple genres, creating a sound that was uniquely his own. Ultimately SmokeyMeadow’s main genre that captures his core roots of expression would be Bedroom Pop and alternative indie (Temporary , To the Moon , Feeling Blu) , as this genre helped him the most with his depression and anxiety that he has battled over the years “ it’s my therapy and when I’m creating something that’s alternative or bedroom pop, I feel a sense of peace” - SmokeyMeadow.
