OUT NOW: “Targets”, an advance single from hishi’s forthcoming debut album “Antipodes”—to be released on July 25. The track features samples of an IOF drone sound recorded by Nemr Wael Al-Khatib (IG: ) from the bedroom window of his North Gaza home. On the cover, three photographs of children skull X-rays by Dr. Mimi Syed, an emergency medicine doctor who worked in Khan Younis from August 8 to September 5, 2024 (source: The New York Times).
All proceeds from the sale of this track, as well as those of the album that will include it, will go directly to Gazzella Onlus, an Italian non-profit association dedicated to the care, treatment and rehabilitation of Palestinian children wounded by weapons of war, operating primarily in the Strip.
