✨What makes it possible for the interiors of a historic 18th-century palace to completely transform, immersing visitors in a unique and entirely new experience?
Without a doubt, the visionary lighting design for the Alchemica exhibition at Palazzo Bovara, created by Valerio Tiberi, played a key role in this remarkable transformation.
High ceilings were a challenge: our high-performance MOTOLUX motorized fixtures provided the perfect solution. Thanks to their remote-control capabilities—including beam direction, intensity, color temperature, and beam width (in ZOOM models)—all controlled from the ground via the formalighting app powered by CASAMBI, they made it possible to achieve precise lighting effects. Pre-set lighting scenarios were then key to creating a dynamic, fluid, and captivating experience.
💡The MOTO-ZERO ZOOM FULL SPECTRUM and MOTO-ZERO COMPASSO used in the installation are equipped with LEDs offering a color rendering index close to 100, ensuring faithful reproduction of natural colors, contrasts, and three-dimensionality. Alchemica sought to push the limits of MOTO-ZERO ZOOM FULL SPECTRUM projectors to achieve a total spatial mutation through precise color management and the balance of warm and cool light. The result was an unprecedented perception of all surfaces.
MOTO-ZERO COMPASSO, a standout feature of the “Herbarium” restaurant—also part of the larger installation—enhanced the furnishings, spotlighted the tables, and perfectly illuminated the culinary masterpieces created by Chef Federico Vigilante of ALMA, the International School of Italian Cuisine.
