Incuriosito sin da bambino della musica in tutte le sue forme ed espressioni, nel 1979 inizia a frequentare i club del momento dove capisce che, anziché ballare in pista, il suo posto è dietro una consolle dove poter trasmettere le proprie emozioni selezionando e miscelando musica. Ha iniziato la sua carriera come SunDee Jay acronimo di dee jay solare per poi diventare definitivamente Alex Sundee.
La magia dell’ osmosi che Alex Sundee riesce a creare sin da subito con il pubblico si consolida col tempo e diventa il motivo del successo che in seguito lo stesso ha avuto nei migliori club nazionali ed internazionali. Nel 1988 partecipa alla gara nazionale per dee jay organizzata e trasmessa in diretta nazionale da “Radio Rai” (“RADIO RAI PARTY”) presso l’ “ACROPOLIS” di Roma, Alex Sundee gioca molto con le sue tecniche di mixaggio e si classifica al secondo posto, nella votazione delle preferenze del pubblico a casa e giuria tecnica. Partecipa a grossi eventi e, nei primi anni 90, dapprima diventa il riferimento artistico del primo locale di tendenza a Roma, Il “GASOLYNE” (ora CUBE) ed, in seguito, l’ ideatore/ fondatore della stazione radio “POWER STATION” all’ interno del locale stesso dove il clima energetico ed il sound creati nelle live performance di Vocalist e DJs durante le serate vengono interconnesse in diretta sulle frequenze della radio, per un pubblico a casa che manifesta un ottimo gradimento. Alex Sundee prosegue il suo percorso artistico portando i suoi live dj set nei locali più cool del Paese nonché dell’ estero. Solo per citare alcuni nomi, il BIG NEPENTA di Torino, il TIFFANY di Sarnico (BG), il DISCO ATLANTIDE di Sabaudia (LT), l’ HEVEN di Tarquinia (VT), il COVO NORDEST di Ponza (LT). Oltre ad aver mixato in qualità di “special home dj” al CYBORG di Attigliano (TR) e alla Duchessa a Valle del Salto (RI), Alex Sundee ha collaborato nella direzione artistica ed ha curato le produzioni discografiche dei due locali con le tracce, concordate coi titolari : “CYBORG GENERATION” e “BILIOBLI CHICCA S”. Arricchiva la propria esperienza musicale svolgendo numerose serate in Svizzera presso i club “AArebar” e “Tony’s the club” a Berna. I suoi DJ Set programmati da “Radio Zerosei” all’ interno del programma “Dance World” si indirizzano ai generi House/Deep/Teck. In qualche occasione Alex Sundee ha partecipato ad alcune riuscitissime manifestazioni di piazza portando sia a Siena (Piazza del Campo) che a Cosenza (Corso Mazzini) la nuova tendenza di fare spettacolo: la “SILENT DISCO” , che ha come prerogativa quella di far scatenare il pubblico senza troppi Watt ma con l’ ascolto in cuffia. ALEX SUNDEE aka dj Sundee, aka The logical Beat aka Sundex pseudonym of Alessandro Laurenzi (Rome, 05/17/63). Intrigued since childhood by the music in all its forms and expressions, in 1979 he began to frequent the clubs of the moment where he realizes that, instead of dancing on the track, his place is behind a console, where he can convey his emotions by selecting and mixing music . He began his career as SunDee-Jay (acronym for disk jockey solar) and then become definitively Alex Sundee . The magic of osmosis that Alex Sundee can create right now with the public is consolidated over time and becomes the reason for the success that him had followed in the best national and international clubs. Always keen on in the study and application of various techniques of mixing, Alex Sundee participate in the 1988, at the national competition organized for DJ and broadcast live from "Radio Rai Party" at the Acropolis of Rome: playing a lot with his mixing techniques is ranked second in the voting preferences of the home audience and jury. He takes part in large events and, in the early '90s, became the first artistic reference of the first trendy night-club in Rome, the Gasolyne (now Cube) and, later on, the creator / founder of radio station "Power Station" all inside of the local itself, where the energy atmosphere and the sound created in the live performance vocalist and DJs in the evenings are interconnected live on radio frequencies, for the public at home that shows a great liking. Alex Sundee continued his artistic career by bringing his live DJ sets in the coolest clubs of the country and also abroad. Just to name a few, BIG NEPENTA of Turin, TIFFANY of Sarnico (BG), the DISCO ATLANTIDE of Sabaudia (LT), the 'HEVEN” of Tarquinia (VT), the NORTHEST COVO of Ponza (LT). In addition to mixed as a "special home dj" at the CYBORG in Attigliano (TR) and at the DUCHESSA in Valle del Salto (RI), Alex Sundee has contributed in the art direction and his taked care about discographic production of the two clubs with the pieces "GENERATION CYBORG" and "BILIOBLI CHICCA S". Enriched his musical experience playing in numerous clubs in Switzerland, like the "Aarebar" and "Tony's the club" in Bern. His DJ Set programmed by "Radio zerosei" all 'inside of the program "World Dance" are directed to the genera House / Deep / Teck. On occasion Sundee Alex has participated in some very successful demonstrations bringing both Siena (Piazza del Campo) that in Cosenza (Corso Mazzini) the new trend of making show: the "SILENT DISCO", which has the prerogative to unleash the audience without too many watts but with the 'headphone listening.
