Italian Singer and Songwriter CIELO - LA ROSA Giovanni
born 1970, is sicilian of Messina, soon it begins to compose lyrics and music for entertainment and shows;
he is S.I.A.E. - Italian Society of Authors and Publishers member since 1995, in 1997 he debuted as a singer with the song "Prisoner" at the festival "Of the two Seas" in which he won the special prize for the best lyrics, awarded by t
he jury, and is ranked in second place among the finalists. After a brief stint with the label "Infinity" of Popi Fabrizio and after writing about twenty songs interrupted for many years the careers. Since 2011 collaborates with the independent label 'Mediterranean's Production "by Gianni Gandi and Pietro Fotia, he starts to compose and write songs that are performed during the winter season at" Caffè Freud " underground live music bar of the historic center of Rome. In that space they perform with well-known, and lesser known, artists of Roman scene including Max Dedo, Orjana, the Farias, Donatella Daniele, Badara Sek, the Gipsy Italian, Gianni Gandi, Elena Presti and many others. In 2013 he collaborates with the singer Lucia Acunzo forming "The ACUNZOROSA" group that produces "Terra Mia" show dedicated to the Neapolitan music, together performing in live concerts and variety shows. April 2014 Mediterraneos production has released the compilation "Buddha Mediterraneo" in which 11 artists from Mediterranean Sea different shores have put together their different musical cultures contaminating them with oriental instruments and sounds. Compilation has two songs of Giovanni LA ROSA: the remake of "Prisoner" Lounge Music version and the cover of " Amuri Amuri " traditional Sicilian folk song recorded for the first time in 1883 and brought to national prominence by the unmistakable voice of Rosa Ballistreri
During 2015 born trio with Gianni Virdis and Marco Francesconi (bassist and drummer), and the first live on stage at the "Crossroads", historic rock venue in Rome.
