In 1974, 19-year-old Arlis Perry had just moved to Stanford with her husband. One night, they got into a small argument, and Arlis told him she was going to the nearby church to pray. That was around midnight.

She never came back.

Her husband got worried and reported her missing. The next morning, a security guard named Stephen Crawford said he found her un@live inside the church… and what he saw was straight out of a horror movie.

Arlis had been un@lived and positioned in a super creepy way. A candle had been sh0ved into her 🍒 and another one between her legs. Her jeans were covering her face. An ice pick was stuck in her he@D. It looked like some kind of ri*ual or s*crifice.

But here’s the weirdest part: the guy who found her un@live — Crawford ( Security Guard )— had the keys to the church. He said he locked it the night before. But cops couldn’t prove anything back then. For years, the case stayed cold.

People started making up wild theories. Some said it was a s*tanic cult. Some linked it to the "Son of Sa*m" cr*mes. But nothing ever stuck.

Then in 2018, over 40 years later, DNA from the cr*me scene was finally tested — and it matched Stephen Crawford. Yup, the same security guard. When police came to arrest him, he pulled out a g*n… and un@live himself.
