Narcissistic Behavior Did you know?

24/08/2026

A narc will never FORGIVE you for what they Did to You...

It may sound strange but this is how they think; when they hurt you- by lying, cheating, disrespecting you or manipulating you.. they don’t want to feel guilty; They also don’t want to admit they were wrong. So they change the story.. They blame you instead. they convince themselves that you caused the problem and that you are the one who should be blamed!

In their mind, blame always gets flipped; They get angry that you can see the truth. Then they punish you for speaking up or reacting.. They hold grudges because you won’t ignore what they did.

Nacassist are not intimidated by no contact.

hey'll initially assume you're just trying to teach them a lesson or acting tough. They will simply wait you out because they are accustomed to winning these kinds of games. However, they will become perplexed if you continue to hold your ground. This is not what they anticipate because they are accustomed to controlling you. They may send you a brief message such as "How are you? "Just thinking about you" actually translates to "Stop pretending and reach out."

They will become even more perplexed if you maintain your composure and disregard the message. They'll step it up because they believe you're improving at the game. They may get in touch with you directly and say things like, "I couldn't live without you, I missed you." They know you want to hear that, so they say it even though they don't mean to. If you give in now, they will know exactly how to control you later on, and everything will return to how they see it. They will prevail even more quickly the next time you attempt to retreat.

Can a narcissist be defeated?
Yes, they can.

There are two primary methods, in my experience, to "get around" a narcissist:

1. The Slow Method:

Wait them out. Narcissists, over time, make more and more errors, and soon others figure out what they actually are. Friends and even relatives will draw back. In the end, their schemes catch up with them, and they're left alone.

2. The Fast (and Better) Way:

The most important choice, in my experience, is to break free from the narcissist and live your life to the fullest.

Do narcissists see strength in those who get away?
Yes, they do! And Im going to tell you when the narcissist sees strength in you:

They're going to see the strength in you when you pull back. That's when the narcissist is going to see your strength.
They're also going to see the strength in you when you go no contact because you're showing the narcissist that you don't need them anymore. You're showing the narcissist that you respect yourself, that you are no longer going to tolerate their games. And no contact shows strength. You're no longer entertaining that narcissist. You're no longer making them important. You don't need them anymore because you're living no contact. You're not chasing them.

Why does a narcissist return?
I'm sorry to say this to you, but it's important for you to be aware of this.

The truth is, if a narcissist returns to you, it won't be because they love you, miss you a lot or suddenly understand how much they care, despite what they tell you. They come back because they've run out of one source of attention or they're simply bored with the current one (just like you were to them, from the moment you thought you were together and exclusive). It's only for a time. They'll go off again as soon as a "better" one is available and they won't stop searching.

Leopards don't change their spots. Same here, narcissists don't really change they just fool you into believing they're different or "ready."

What's next? Now is a turning point for you. You can expect them to once again trick you and continue waiting for their return which may not come or you can reject their fake charisma completely: cut them off so that they can't talk to you with further lies, and inform yourself about narcissism to understand what's really going on.

Can a narcissist forget you?
A narcissist never really forgets you, even if they act as though you didn't matter. When they seem to have quickly gotten over you, and gone on to someone else, you've to remember that that's just an act. If they were with you for a long time, they simply can't just walk away.

This isn't about them having missing empathy they remember what you did for them and how you made their life easier. They're also extremely jealous and will still make it seem like you're theirs even when you're gone. They remember how you made them feel and what you've done for them.

Is a narcissist afraid of you once you leave?

They are really afraid of you. They fear you, hate you, want revenge, and try to sabotage you. Why? It's because of fear. Narcissists get very uncomfortable and panicked when someone they see as a "supply" realizes their own self-worth.

In the minds of narcissists, they believe they control everything, including when they discard their supply. If the supply leaves them before they're done with them, they become extremely panicked and confused. They thought they had everything under control, but suddenly the supply they still needed is gone.

Think of it this way: When you take medication for a long time, you become dependent on it, right? Now imagine quitting that medication suddenly without being prepared, causing withdrawal symptoms like anger, confusion, and cravings. Narcissists act similarly, but they won't show that they miss you or want you back. Instead, they punish you. They'll punish the very thing that made them question themselves.

Silence is a multifaceted word with narcissists. Below are the most probable reasons:

They're waiting you out.

They could be giving you space to cool off, heal, or even forgive them for something they've done.

They're distracted.

They might be with another person, or they might be engaged in something else that they prefer right now.

They're punishing you.

Silence is a strategic tool. They're attempting to make you worried and ultimately pursue them.

They're tending a narcissistic wound.

A tiny rejection such as you telling them "no" can be an enormous blow. They could be lurking in wait to exert control once more.

They're testing their power.

They want to know if you are going to crack first and call them.

What you can basically count on is this: they are not sitting around worrying about losing you. They are thinking about their options.

And don't be surprised when they vanish and reappear. Narcissists will likely come back sometimes weeks, months, or even years later even with the expectation of resuming where you had left off. They might swear they've changed, confess old errors, or attempt to convince you that this time things will be different. But trust us, it's generally the same ol' merry-go-round once again.

So when their disappearance happens to you, you have options too:

Wait for them to come back. But know you’ll probably end up back in the same painful cycle.

Use their silence as an opportunity. Block them, go no contact, and protect your peace.

When do narcissists abandon you?
Narcissists abandoned you much earlier than you might realize. They abandoned you when you were trying hard to make them happy, doing everything for them, and even when you were upset about their behavior.

Once the lovebombing ends, the devaluation starts, and that's when the real abandonment begins. Devaluation means the narcissist decides you're not good enough, and they start looking for someone better. Right then, they've abandoned you, even if you're physically still around.

Even if you're physically present, the narcissist is living as if you're not there. They've given up on you, knowing they don't want to be with you. They show it in their actions – they don't care about you, only about themselves.
