Fubara Pulls Out of APC Governorship Primary in Rivers State.

Siminalayi Fubara, the Governor of Rivers State, has announced that he is no longer taking part in the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in the state.

In a statement he personally signed on Wednesday, Fubara said he would support whoever becomes the party’s candidate. He said the decision was made after discussions with his family, friends, and political associates.

Desmond Elliot Withdraws from APC Primary

Desmond Elliot has officially withdrawn from the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the Surulere 1 constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly, citing alleged intimidation of his supporters.

The video where Governor Alex Otti, the former Managing Director of Diamond Bank Plc, confirmed that Peter Obi left money in the state coffers has resurfaced.

Otti said: “As the Chairman of Diamond Bank at the time Peter Obi was governor, I can confirm that he left $50 million each in Diamond Bank, Fidelity Bank, and Access Bank.”

He also confirmed that Peter Obi did not borrow money from any financial institution. So, Peter Obi bought over 30,000 computers for schools, provided buses and ambulances, built teaching hospitals, roads, and bridges, procured over 300 security vehicles, paid salaries, and did so much more without borrowing a dime from any financial institution.
