We are proud to welcome baritone Navasard Hakobyan to the iCharm PR family!

A rapidly rising star on the international opera scene, Navasard is the winner of both the 2024 The Metropolitan Opera’s Laffont Competition and The Dallas Opera’s National Vocal Competition, and recipient of Third Prize and the Don Plácido Domingo Ferrer Prize for Zarzuela at the 2023 Operalia World Opera Competition.

A graduate of some of the world’s most prestigious young artist programs — including Houston Grand Opera Studio, the Young Singers Project at the Salzburger Festspiele | Salzburg Festival, and the Académie of the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence — Navasard now joins the ensemble of Deutsche Oper Berlin for the 2025/26 season, where his roles include De Siriex (Fedora), Morales (Carmen), and the Marquis d’Obigny (La Traviata), among others. He will also make his house debut at Seattle Opera as El Dancaïro in Carmen under the baton of Ludovic Morlot.

Valentina Puskàs Soprano

🎶 Introducing the Operalia 2025 Participants!

⭐️ Valentina Puskàs, soprano, Romania/Hungary
In 2023, Valentina joined the Jette Parker Artist Programme at the Royal Ballet And Opera, debuting as Adina in L’elisir d’amore, with subsequent appearances as Micaëla in Carmen, Nedda in Pagliacci and the Dew Fairy in Hänsel und Gretel, among other roles. She earned her master's degree from the National University of Music in Bucharest. Earlier appearances include her debut as Countess Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro at the Miskolc State Theatre in Hungary and performances with the Bucharest National Opera, Transylvania Philharmonic in Cluj, Oradea State Philharmonic, Deva State Theatre and Petrosani State Theatre.
