VETRINA #14

Lightbox in collaboration with presents “Tarocchi - Ciò che il bruco chiama fine il maestro chiama farfalla” by

June 26 – October 26, 2025
Opening June 25 at 6:30pm

The contemporary art project Vetrina continues its second cycle of presentations, focusing on the theme of activism. It exclusively involves women artists who are enterprising and provocative in different ways and who are deeply committed to using their works as a space for proactive reflection on the contemporary world.

For Vetrina #14, Vino Vero welcomes Isabella Staino, a visual artist who explores the tension of the feminine, the symbolic resonance of the animal world, and the power of the dreamlike. Her work stands out for its intense and deeply personal use of colour, her painting often taking the form of narrative — constantly engaging with literature, memory, and vision.

Staino unveils a new series of works on paper inspired by a personal tarot reading. For many years, due to a progressive loss of eye-sight, she has been painting with the aid of video magnifiers – devices normally used for reading, which she has adapted for her artistic practice. This tool enables her to alternate between a broader view and a focus on details, creating a richly layered pictorial language, where her visual limitation is transformed into a perceptual and narrative experience.

Join us on June 25 at Vino Vero to learn more about the Vetrina Project and Isabella Staino’s work!

2025 – A Matter of Radiance
Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation (ACDF)

From the mirrored surfaces of Tashkent’s solar furnace to the global stage of the Venice Biennale, A Matter of Radiance explores the visionary intersection of science, culture, and architecture.
The exhibition traces the legacy of the Sun Institute of Material Science — a rare Soviet-era heliocomplex — as both a technological marvel and a symbol of untapped potential.

Curated by GRACE and commissioned by the ACDF, the pavilion brings together artists, scientists, and thinkers to reimagine the meaning of progress through Uzbekistan’s unique modernist lens. At its core: the story of physicist Sadyk Azimov and a renewed call to preserve and propel a radiant architectural heritage toward the future.

1932–1942 Murano Glass and the Venice Biennale
LE STANZE DEL VETRO – Fondazione Giorgio Cini

A decade of fire, form, and transformation.
From the birth of the Venice Pavilion to the eve of war, Murano glass took center stage—redefining the role of decorative arts within the Biennale. The exhibition captures an era of radical experimentation, where tradition met bold material innovation, as Murano furnaces collaborated with artists and designers such as Carlo Scarpa, Flavio Poli, and Dino Martens.

From shimmering transparency to dense, textured color—glass became language, craft became art.

Catalonia in Venice_Water Parliaments
Venice Architecture Biennale 2025 – Eventi Collaterali

Water is memory. Water is power. Water is a subject with rights.
Water Parliaments transforms architecture into a tool for resistance, care, and reimagination.
Through installations, film, fog, and full-scale prototypes, this exhibition invites architects, activists, and communities to rethink how we live with—and through—water.
An atlas, a vocabulary, a call to act.
From the shores of the Ebro to the delta of thought, this is not just an exhibition—it’s a platform for change.

Opening: May 8, 5–7pm

VETRINA #13

Lightbox in collaboration with  presents presents .hahn Night Eyes

February 20, 2025 – June 22, 2025
Opening February 19 at 6:30pm

The contemporary art project Vetrina continues its second cycle of presentations, focusing on the theme of activism. It exclusively involves women artists who are enterprising and provocative in different ways and who have consistently used their works to provide space for proactive reflection on the contemporary world.

For Vetrina #13, Vino Vero has invited Mariana Hahn, a multidisciplinary artist who explores the relationship between the body, memory, and transmission of knowledge. Through materials such as silk, hair, salt, and copper, Hahn examines how memory is stored and altered across time and different civilizations.

“Night Eyes” is a site-specific exhibition featuring five works that delve into the transformation of materials and their resonance with human experience. The first piece, “Untitled” (2020), presents a copper plate shaped in the outline of a reclining human figure, created through the imprint of sweat left during the artist’s runs in Paris. Over time, the oxidation of the copper gradually reveals this trace, a poetic testament to presence, memory, and change. The pose mirrors that of marginalized individuals in urban spaces, evoking themes of vulnerability and resilience.

Alongside this piece, the exhibition includes four additional works integrating salt and copper, with crystallized salt forming textured surfaces that resemble moons slowly eroding over time. Inspired by the salt pans of Gozo, Malta, these works explore erosion, evaporation, and the fragile memory embedded in materials.

Join us on February 19 at Vino Vero to discover “Night Eyes” and Mariana Hahn’s evocative exploration of memory, transformation, and time.

With 2024 almost behind us and 2025 just around the corner, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those we have collaborated with throughout the year. Your support has been crucial in making this a truly extraordinary year for us.

This year, My Art Guide Venice accompanied the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, with the Venice Meeting Point hosting Solidarity is not a Metaphor (), curated by Nataša Petrešin () and created by Alserkal Initiative () in partnership with Cité internationale des arts ().

Lightbox managed communications for the National Pavilions of Chile (), Poland (), and Serbia (), as well as the Collateral Events Ydessa Hendeles: Grand Hotel () and Madang: Where We Become Us ().
Additionally, My Art Guide Paris was published for the third edition of Art Basel in Paris, consolidating the guide’s presence in the Ville Lumière.

2024 also saw the launch of Radical (), a magazine dedicated to natural wine, and the Vetrina catalogue of public art projects curated by Mara Sartore. Another milestone was the opening of Bea Vita (), Vino Vero’s () bistrot, accompanied by Michele Bubbacco’s () solo exhibition.

As we look ahead, we are thrilled to announce the 2025 editorial programme. The My Art Guides () series will continue to spotlight global cultural events with editions for Mexico City, Milan, Venice, Basel, and Paris.

May all that is beautiful and meaningful bring you joy this holiday season and throughout the coming year.
With gratitude and best wishes, we look forward to sharing our upcoming projects in 2025!
