Open Call / Architecture

LIVING PLACES, SIMON ARCHITECTURE PRIZE 2026

Last days to register for the international architecture prize, an initiative by Simon Electric curated by the Fundació Mies van der Rohe van der Rohe, that uses video as a storytelling tool.

Projects may be submitted by 14 September in architecture, interiors, public spaces and landscaping from all European countries.

Proposals can be submitted until 5 October at simonprize.org.

Yesterday, gastro-musical event with TIBERI CLUB and Clara Aguilar, bringing the programme to a close with an experience linking rainwater to the senses of hearing and taste.

Plou prou? (Is It Raining Enough?) was a proposal by Cierto Estudio, h3o architects and METRONOM, selected through the Barcelona 2026 World Capital of Architecture open call to be part of the official programme.

The project activated the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion as a space for experimentation, gathering and cultural production centred on water management as both a resource and a shared collective experience.

Sound as architecture. Light as material.

Brian Eno’s My Light Years transforms the monumental spaces of the Crociera dell’Ospedale Vecchio in Parma into an immersive field of audiovisual installations — the most comprehensive collection of his work ever brought together in a single location.

Until August 2.

Part of the project, SEED unfolds in two phases: a site-specific audio installation in the Giardini di San Paolo, co-created with writer Ece Temelkuran, followed by a vinyl edition — a single copy, curated by Eno — capturing the audience’s own listening experience, to become part of the permanent collection at Casa del Suono.

A work that listens back.
