Qui alla siamo persone un po’ particolari.
Originali, ci sbeffeggiava nostro padre. A differenza di molte case discografiche, non abbiamo un genere di riferimento, non ci riconosciamo in nessun vestito, o in nessuna forma, se non quella di una bella canzone. Melodie accattivanti sopra un ritmo sostenuto ed impellente. Dolcezza ruvida e selvaggia, da qui il nome dell’etichetta (oltre alla chiara citazione dei Beach Boys...). Punk come modo di fare le cose, non come genere o formula codificata. E proprio perchè siamo orgogliosi della nostra originalità, anziché un classico Festival dell’Etichetta, per ben tre volte abbiamo organizzato il party dei nostri sogni: una FESTA di NATALE.
Ed è stato magico.
Così irripetibile, che ormai è diventata una tradizione.
E quest'anno abbiamo tante cose da festeggiare:

Tante band in un ambiente piccolo e caldo dove poterci abbracciare. Regali, sorprese e luci. Cactus come alberi di Natale. E balli finali.

With that line, Jeff Burke sets the tone for “Analog Ways”, one of the most intimate and unexpected songs from Radioactivity’s upcoming album, Time Won’t Bring Me Down.

The track reflects on distance, disconnection, and the coldness of modern life, while also celebrating a return to warmth, sincerity, and the raw, human sound of analog recording.

Featuring Yusuke Okada (Brooklyn, Lost Balloons), the song is warmer, more melodic, and gently dreamy, a surprising, deeply human turn for Radioactivity.

We've got this Crazy Idea: Physical First, Digital Later

I still remember the thrill of finding a record in a store by chance. A band I followed—or maybe didn’t. My heart skipped a beat: Is this real? Official? Or did I imagine it?�Holding it in my hands—the cover, the artwork, the weight—it felt like discovering a secret gift meant just for me.�No streaming, no pre-listening, no pre-order. You had to experience it, take a chance, and then share it. With friends, siblings, bandmates. It was more than music. It was something to discover together.

The Lost Experience
That feeling… surprise, curiosity, joy… it’s harder to find today.�Digital music is wonderful. It opens doors, lets us explore, share, and experience more than ever. Every way of enjoying art is valid.�But in our small corner, we want to bring back a piece of that old magic—the thrill of finding something in your hands, sharing it, discovering it together. It’s a small gesture, but one we care about deeply.

Our Idea
At Wild Honey Records, being a small, independent, non-profit label lets us try a little crazy. We can experiment, follow instincts, take chances.�Instead of dropping digital first, we flip the script: physical first, digital later.�Vinyls and CDs go into stores, hands, communities—to be found, held, shared.�Maybe one or two tracks appear online first, but the full experience waits. Something to stumble upon, fall in love with, and talk about—before it hits your screen.

Why It Matters
It’s not just music. It’s how we experience it.�The anticipation. The thrill of opening the sleeve. The joy when it’s amazing, the surprise—or disappointment—when it’s not. The stories you tell friends about that record you found.�Even as a small punk label, we want to honor that magic.�We want to create moments worth holding, worth waiting for. Moments that feel alive and make you feel something, one way or another.

This is our small rebellion: slowing things down, putting the tangible experience of music first.�Some upcoming releases are already in stores, small distro collections, at our events, and band merch tables. Radioactivity even started their tour with their new album—no announcements, no previews.
