THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Every journey with God has purpose, and every season carries lessons. As this year comes to a close, we pause not in exhaustion, but in gratitude. The strength that sustained us was not our own—it was the Lord’s.

Finishing strong does not mean everything was perfect; it means God was faithful. Through goodness, teachability, and wisdom, He has shaped us, refined us, and prepared us for what lies ahead.

Dear child of God, celebrate the faith you kept, the growth you gained, and the grace that carried you. What God began, He has been faithful to complete—and what He has prepared for you next is greater still.


Faithful God, thank You for carrying me through this year. I honour You for every victory, every lesson, and every moment of grace. As I close this chapter, I step forward in faith, strength, and expectation. I finish strong and move boldly into all You have prepared for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

WALK IN WISDOM
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
— Psalm 90:12 (ESV)

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Goodness begins with God, and a teachable heart keeps us close to Him. When we remain teachable, God produces wisdom within us.

Wisdom is not merely knowing what is right—it is applying God’s truth in daily life. It governs our choices, our words, and our responses. A heart taught by the Holy Spirit learns to walk carefully, intentionally, and in alignment with God’s timing.

Dear child of God, as the year draws to a close, ask the Lord for wisdom—not just to finish strong, but to step forward well. Let every lesson learned shape how you live, love, and lead.


Wise and faithful God, teach me to number my days. Grant me a heart of wisdom to apply what You have taught me. Order my steps and guide my decisions by Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

☀️ MORNING RENDEZVOUS☀️

WALK IN GOODNESS
You are good and do good; teach me your statutes.
— Psalm 119:68 (ESV)*

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Goodness is God. Everything about Him is good. Even in our fallen state, He still has good plans for us.

No matter how good we try to be, we often find ourselves slipping off the ladder of goodness. The psalmist understood this truth, which is why he asked the Spirit of God to teach him.

Dear child of God, you need to be taught by the Holy Spirit. Why? Because you live among people who are not all like you. Without divine guidance, maintaining godly goodness becomes difficult—but with the Spirit’s teaching, it becomes possible.


Lord God, I honour You. No one can be compared to You. Take all the glory. Sweet Holy Spirit, teach me Your ways. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

DON’T FORGET GOD’S GOODNESS

“Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness.”
Psalms 107:8–9 (NKJV)

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
It is so easy to forget God when things begin to go right. Success can quietly convince us that we are self-made, causing us to overlook the goodness of God at work in our lives.

Once again, the psalmist draws our attention back to this truth. He reminds us to pause and remember God’s goodness and His wonderful works—both seen and unseen.

As you reflect on the year 2025, do not forget to give thanks to God for His goodnesses and His wonderful works in your life. Gratitude keeps our hearts aligned and our faith alive.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new day. Forgive me for the times I allowed self to take over. Holy Spirit, guide me and keep my heart grateful.
