One of the most remote islands in Europe: Corvo, in the Azores 🇵🇹

The island is actually the crater of an ancient volcano, with a lake that slowly formed over the years from rainwater 🌋 Getting here isn’t exactly simple: you can arrive from Flores Island by boat or catch one of the few small flights available ✈️

We landed on an 800-meter runway, the plane needs 750 to stop. They told us after 😳 After our visit, we jumped on a boat with and cruised back to Flores, chasing hidden gems along the wild northern coast of Flores.

This place is unreal, definitely worth a visit if you’re around the Azores.
