September has come like a breath after a long summer.
The suffocating heat has faded, the days grow shorter, and the fields are quietly beginning to change.
I watch the seasons turn,
and wonder at how much we change with them —
not all at once,
but little by little,
becoming someone new while still remaining ourselves.
Perhaps this is the quiet beauty of September:
nothing stays as it was,
and yet everything finds its way forward.
