I regularly say “never forget where you came from.” I heard that phrase regularly since childhood. And that means remembering and celebrating our collective heritage every day. It is what keeps our ancestors alive in our hearts as well as our memories.

But just because October has come to a close doesn't mean we can't - or shouldn't - celebrate our heritage every day.
