Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan had a long-storied working relationship and friendship. They collaborated and covered each other from the 1960's up through the 90's and today, I wrote about and featured Cash covering Dylan for 1994 compilation The Red Hot Organization + Country.

It was re-issued for the first time on vinyl for the album's 30th anniversary and showcases Johnny's version of "Forever Young." Enjoy it and read a retrospect on their relationship exclusively at The Witzard! 🤠⚫️🎻👢🤵🏻

Detriot's Dischord Records/Revolution Summer revivalists BIG LIFE have returned with single "Out or Breath" and a cover of Hüsker Dü's "Something I Learned Today" from their upcoming third EP in just three years, The Cost of Progress.

So, Frozen Ground is a great new band from Buffalo, New York now signed to Trustkill Records. Its membership includes Nick Brooks, Mike Hatalak, Greg Styliades, and John Runkle. All either past and/or current members of It Dies Today - OFFICIAL PAGE, Senses Fail, Wreckage, and Rhinoceros. Last night, they "surprise" released their debut self-titled EP. I was surprised yesterday when I came home to a half-page sized manilla envelope from North East, Pennsylvania addressed to me. And I was even more surprised to see what was inside: a D.I.Y. 'zine that Eric Michael Schauffele and the Human Animal boys had made chronicling our Sick Puzzle All-around Breakdown for The Witzard! E.M.S., Kyle Bull's Home for Belligerent Amateur Musicians, Ryan Zimmerman, Adam Salaga, and Bobby Robert Williams put these together for a recent Erie show with MADBALL, SPACED & Reality Denied! I've always wanted to make a 'zine, but haven't done it myself... so, shout-out to The H.A. MOB! 💙🔴🟡🟢📚🧷

Kill Verona (formerly known as Little League) is back with their first new music in eight years! "HUSH" dropped on streaming services last night at midnight and the Sirius Cinema-directed video came out today at noon! The Shipwreck EP with B-side "TIME IS GONE" will be out on Friday, June 13th!

So, I recently discovered The Halfpipes while researching and looking for bands for my Black Punk/Hardcore and Brown Punk/Hardcore Spotify playlists.

I got in touch with their producer/mentor Travis Street at Street Noise Productions, who told me they had been inactive since their 2022 self-titled EP.

Now, they're back with "Birthday Boy" from an upcoming EP dropping later this summer. Check it out now exclusively at The Witzard! 🛹🐮🇨🇱🧷

We recently got a chance to speak with Eric Dangerfield from rising Atlanta-based viral all-black Pop-punk hit-makers The Paradox.

Believe us, this band is seriously gonna be "the next big thing" and early supporters, such as blink-182's Travis Barker, Green Day, Good Charlotte's Benji Madden, Lil Nas X, Hoobastank's Doug Estrin, Simple Plan, and Jack White, would agree!
