Throwback Thursday hits different this month.
Back in March 2024, this idea first came to me in Utah while snowboarding at my favorite place
A hot and cold plunge spaceābut not the version everyoneās already seen.
I knew what I didnāt want.
Not sterile.
Not tiled.
Not a standard spa aesthetic.
I wanted something organic. Alive.
A space that felt connected to natureābecause that connection has always grounded me.
At the time, I had the visionā¦ but no idea how it would ever come together.
On October 9, I posted a promo video announcing my cannabis flower collaboration with Ascend Wellness. When I walked into the space to film, I was immediately drawn to this greenery wall behind me. I shot the video right there without thinking twice.
Standing in front of it, I remember thinking,
āThereās no way Iāll ever find someone who does work like this.ā
Then on October 21, I left for the Philippines.
That trip changed everything. The textures, the greenery, the energyāit clarified the vision even more. I came home knowing exactly how I wanted this space to feelā¦ but still couldnāt find anything that came close.
I kept searching.
Nothing matched what I had seen or felt.
Then on November 26, Lyndsay from quietly slid into my DMs.
She had seen that October 9 video.
The one shot in front of that wall.
And just like that, the missing piece found me.
This space exists because of timing, alignment, and trusting a vision before it fully made sense. Iām constantly reminded how powerful it is to stay true to what you feelāeven when you donāt yet know the āhow.ā
Iām incredibly grateful for the people who enter our lives at exactly the right moment.
The rest really is history.
