These two campaigns have been performing really well, averaging a 13.2x ROI every month. CPL is only one metric. ROI is really the most important thing at the end of the day. This is for a Paver Sealing company. For higher AOV contractors like paver installers and pool builders, ROIs have been anywhere from 20-50x! Wouldn't you like to spend 2,000 on ads and get $100,000 in revenue every single month?

Here are three more Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns with various structures, targeting, creatives, ad copy, and start dates. I know some Facebook ad guys will advertise 100 leads for $3-5 per lead or "message" but 90% of those are straight trash. With conditional logic, high-intent form leads like I used above, you get fewer leads, but they are 95% great leads, and so they are of course a bit more expensive. The upside is that they save your sales team a ton of time and increase overall efficiency.

Remember, CPL is only one metric, ROI is what I focus on, and the campaigns above range from 6x-16x which is a friggin miracle compared to the negative or 1x ROI I was getting with other marketing companies and revered freelancers with "great" reputations. Some food for thought =)

I specialize in Facebook and Instagram ads, but it's worth noting the performance of one of my Google Adwords Campaigns. Part of the reason I'm ridiculously good at Meta Ads is because I ran my own adwords from 2016-2024. The same basic pillars of marketing sometimes apply across multiple platforms.
