Urtica dioica, (I misspoke, it's pronounced die-o-ick-a) or the Stinging Nettle, has such a reputation that many plants mimic its shape and spiny stalks in a process known as biomimicry!

Useful plants!

Asparagus officinalis, is the asparagus you eat– if you like it– and like smelly p*e. The first yeayou plant it you MUST let it go to seed to establish itself. You can then cut the young shoots next spring. Next is horse radish of the order Brassicicea. From Eurasia, it is a hardy plant that will spread if unattended, and once planted, is a real feat to try to eradicate. Both non-natives, but common all the same– useful knowledge in a pinch.
