I wouldn’t be who I am today without this girl 💖 To decades of joint birthday parties, from 1st grade to college roomies, heart-healing laughter, snuggles, hugs and so much love… forever and always. I love you Lu… Enjoy this long lost throwback from our joint 13th birthday party sleep over in 2002. The actual video was over an hour long, capturing our blind-folded makeovers, movie watching, pizza eating and unwrapping of all the presents and reading of allllll the cards 😂🥹 Precious memories, so grateful for every. single. one.

I didn’t want to dig in and hear what I had to say, or feel what this would ask me to feel… grief, sorrow, an empty pain, but her life and love were too powerful not too be effected in this way and that’s just a testament to the incredible person and friend she was. She was worth it and if we could have known to do more or do different, we would have, but here we all are. Left with a Lee-shaped hole in our hearts. Speaking up for those who can’t, remembering the light and LOVE that she was and THAT is how she deserves to be remembered… beautiful soul ✨💛✨
