Week 1 of hitting the reset button is officially in the books! 🪵✨
If I’m being completely honest, it didn’t go exactly as planned. There was no perfectly stacked grid of matching meal prep containers, and yes… a Wendy’s salad absolutely made a guest appearance at the beginning of the week. Because life happens.
But the real win? Having incredible, wholesome building blocks ready to mix, match, and nourish my body whenever I needed them.
Here is what the plate looked like this week:
🌱 Grains: Zesty quinoa (tossed with cayenne, cranberries, walnuts, and lemon) + hearty bulgur wheat with green peas.
🍠 Carbs: Roasted sweet potatoes.
🥦 The Veggie Harvest: A colorful mix of pumpkin, carrots, pak choi, cabbage, and my absolute favorite—broccoli!
🍳 Proteins: Keeping it lean and clean with salmon, tuna, chicken breast, black beans, chickpeas, red beans and eggs.
🥤 Morning Ritual: Alternating my daily smoothies between a vibrant sorrel/hibiscus base and an energizing matcha.
Healthy eating isn’t about rigid perfection; it’s about flexibility, listening to your body, and choosing foods that make you feel alive from the inside out.
