A perfect circular rainbow appeared beneath the world’s highest bridge!
The rainbow appeared on August 23 near the Huajiang Bridge in China’s Guizhou Province. The bridge rises 625 metersabove the river.
From the drone’s altitude, the optical phenomenon looked like a perfect 360-degree circle, although such a complete rainbow is usually impossible to see from the ground.

Surveillance Camera Captures Motorcyclist's Miraculous Survival After Colliding with Bus

Footage captured by a surveillance camera in the city of Buga, in Colombia's Valle del Cauca department, showed a violent collision between a public transit bus and a motorcycle. Wadi Rum is becoming one of Jordan's top astro-tourism destinations, with its dark desert skies and stunning landscape generating an estimated JD3 million a year for the local community.

According to Thabet Al-Nabulsi of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, around half or more of visitors take part in stargazing experiences, thanks to the area's rare combination of pitch-dark skies, an established tourism base of over half a million overnight visitors, and breathtaking natural scenery.

The Rum Sky Observatory, the only tourism-focused observatory in the Middle East and North Africa, has welcomed more than 70,000 visitors since 2018, offering everything from telescope sessions to guided night walks under some of the clearest skies in the world.

Experts say the next step is protecting these dark skies from light pollution, and potentially pursuing international dark-sky recognition, so Wadi Rum can keep drawing stargazers from around the globe for years to come.
