Magnificent Hula stage performed by Halau Kawaili'ula lead by Kumu Hula Chinky Mahoe who has been perpetuating the art of hula both local and international.
Live performance by Hawai'i's own "KALANI PE'A", who has won the 2017 Grammy Award for Best Regional Roots Music Album.
Japan folk dance team Kira Kira Hikaru Arts "Kazumi Ishii" and "Hikaru Ishii", who are transmitting Japanese folk dance to overseas, will perform a traditional Japanese dance. This is the first time they will be performing here in Hawai'i.
Come and enjoy a night of wonderful dinner and performances. Join our House band for the evening for soothing Hawaiian music and some mele hula fun.

In 1979, Chinky Māhoe began Halau Hula Oʼ Kawaili'ula in Kailua, Oʻahu. The hālau has placed with top honors in very famous festivals such as the Kalihi-Palama Culture and the Arts, Kamehameha Day Celebration and the Merrie Monarch Hula Festivals.
Chinky Māhoe has committed himself to teach the art of hula, the Hawaiian culture and the cultural protocol to his followers and people from all over the world.
②KALANI PEʼA Hawaiian Music
Singer/Songwriter【KALANI PEʼA】
Kalani Peʻa is Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter of Hawaiian music. He released his first album『E Walea』, which he won the 2017 Grammy award for Best Regional Roots Music Album. He runs up in a top star, with his strong R&B sounds and vitality as entertainer, he has made a powerful presence in the Hawaiian music scene.
He is from Hilo, Hawaii Island.
③Kazumi Ishii×Hikaru Ishii「Kirakira Hikaru Arts JAPAN」 Traditional Dance of Japan Institute of Design Promotion
Performer/Dancer/Stage Director Kazumi Ishii
Since the age of 3, she started ballet and modern dance and studied under Sumiko Kozuki and Sanae Ishii. She also learned hula dance from Shikiko Sugi. She participated in numerous overseas and domestic performances with the Japan Folk Dance Troupe. After leaving the troupe, she continued her career as a dancer while also engaging in community activities through dance, such as cultural lectures and local events. Since 1999, she has been the director of Little Star Dance Studio, teaching various dances including modern dance, hula dance, and Okinawan Eisa drum dance. Additionally, in 2006, she founded “Kirakira Hikaru Arts JAPAN” to bring the spirit of Asia to the world, continuing to showcase Japanese dances globally.
Performer/Dancer/ Taiko drummer Hikaru Ishii
Starting from a young age, he has been involved in modern dance, creative dance, hula dance, and Eisa. As a member of the creative dance group “Kirakira Hikaru Artʼs Japan” led by Kazumi Ishii, he has participated in consolation performance tour for Tohoku, Kyushu area damaged by natural disaster in Japan, performance tours and international art festivals abroad. At the age of 16, he begins playing the Japanese taiko drum and completed his training at the Kodo Cultural Foundation Training Center. Currently, he has explored the depth of Japanese culture through traditional Japanese performing arts, especially focusing on folk arts. Additionally, he organizes stage performances, festivals, and workshops, aiming to engage contemporary Japanese people in contemplating the essence of Japan.
